Have you ever felt like you’re constantly juggling a myriad of tasks, only to realise you’re overwhelmed and unproductive?
I’ve definitely been there, but it’s not something you have to accept. Instead, imagine waking up every day, knowing exactly what you need to do to propel your business forward. No more confusion, no more missed opportunities.
It might sound too good to be true, but it’s totally achievable and today I’m breaking down the simple steps you can take to make it happen.
But before you can get started with business planning in 2025, you need a reliable and consistent way to sell your offers. I spoke about this in a recent episode, but to put it simply: you need to be able to predict your conversion rate with a high degree of accuracy.
For example, if you can confidently say that putting 100 people through your sales process yields 10 sales, you’re already in a good place. Your next step? Simply find ways to increase that number of prospects. There are lots of ways to do that, but the right approach is usually a mix of these three options:
TUNE IN : APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY
Paid Advertising
They offer control and quick scalability, although they do come with upfront expenses. Think of this as a more predictable expense once your conversion rate is established.
Social Media and Content Marketing
Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube offer a free but time-intensive avenue to connect with your market. Make sure you choose a platform that suits your audience and style of content you produce.
Borrowed Audiences
Collaborate with others by tapping into their audiences via joint initiatives like bundles, summits, or group giveaways. While free, this option requires a lot of effort and doesn’t guarantee you’ll stand out amongst the competition.
Once you’ve identified how you’re going to build your audience, it’s time to break your plan down into manageable, scheduled tasks. Here’s how I structure my workload:
Daily Tasks
Focus on maintenance. This usually takes me around 40 minutes a day and includes checking ads, customer service, and community engagement.
Weekly Tasks
For these I set aside about two and a half hours on Friday to organise the coming week’s social media, analyse funnel stats, and tweak ad creatives.
Monthly Tasks
Mid-month is when I map out our promotional strategy, brief my team, and set the upcoming goals. I set aside one day for business planning and a second day for executing those plans.
Once these tasks are outlined, they’re easily manageable and allow you to focus on scaling your business without feeling torn between commitments. Make sure to sync them up with your calendar so you can’t ignore or forget them.
