As we step into a brand new year, the focus for myself and our clients turns to goal-setting. I can’t help but feel the excitement that comes with a fresh outlook after a solid break. And I know many of you are just as excited as I am about goal setting and reverse engineering these goals to create a clear path to success.
Today, I want to share with you a powerful goal-setting strategy that can help take your business growth to new heights: our 90-Day Scoreboard.
The 90-Day Scoreboard is a tool we use with our clients every quarter to assess their progress and gain clarity about what’s working and what needs improvement. It’s a brilliant way to remove any emotional bias and objectively evaluate your business’s performance. By consistently reviewing your progress every 90 days, you can track your growth, set actionable goals and stay motivated throughout the year.

Score yourself
Grab a pen and a piece of paper, and for each question listed below, give yourself a score on a scale of 0 to 10. Zero means not at all, 10 means outstanding, and five indicates a moderate level of satisfaction. The goal is to have a higher score each time you revisit this process. So, without further ado, here is the checklist:
- My offer sells easily.
- My pricing feels really good.
- My offer is profitable.
- I make offers and extend invitations every day.
- My content schedule is consistent and provides high value.
- My email list is nurtured.
- My email list is growing.
- (Optional) My paid ads are working.
- My launches convert well.
- My launches run like clockwork.
- My evergreen funnel is making sales.
- My sales feel reliable.
- My clients are loving my program.
- My clients are getting great results.
- My team feels supportive.
- My systems feel supportive.
Tally It Up
Once you’ve answered all the questions, tally up your scores and give yourself a total out of 150. This number represents your current overall performance. Keep track of your scores for each question to identify areas for improvement. We aim to see this number grow over time, not to have a perfect score right away.
I encourage you to bookmark this post and revisit the questions in 90 days. By comparing your new scores with your previous ones, you’ll be able to see how much progress you’ve made. Focus on the areas with the lowest scores and revisit your goal-setting every 90 days. Remember, small steps lead to significant growth.
And if you found this strategy helpful, please consider sharing it with your business bestie. Word-of-mouth recommendations are incredibly powerful and help us reach more people who could benefit from these resources.
