Back in 2020, I created my first low-ticket offer. During lockdown, actually—I remember setting it all up around my newborn baby’s sleep schedule.
And it worked. Really well.
I was able to scale it. It was bringing in sales. It was growing our list. Everything was humming along.
And then I got some really bad advice from a mentor.
They told me it was “too broad.” That I was bringing in too many non-ideal clients. That I needed to niche down.
So I shut down the offer that was working. And I tried to create something more niche.
Big mistake.
Because when you go too niche with a gateway offer, your pool of potential buyers gets really small. And that pool—especially in competitive industries—gets expensive to reach with ads.
So it became way harder. Way more expensive. Way less profitable.
And for years, I kept trying to make that niche offer work. When all along, the answer was to go back to what I’d been doing in the first place.
The Five-Step Process
So at the start of this year, I went back to basics. And I created a new gateway offer using a five-step process.
