After 15 years of running Facebook ads, I can say with complete confidence: ads have never been easier or more profitable than they are right now in 2026.
And before you click away — this isn’t theory. This is what we’re actually doing in our business right now, and the results speak for themselves. We’re hitting 3x ROAS on a low-ticket offer, and the whole system takes about 30 minutes a week to manage. No ads expert required.
Here’s what changed, why it’s working, and what you need to know.
So What Actually Changed?
Late last year, we started noticing something. Our lead magnet ads — which had been smashing it for almost 12 months — started cooling off. The quality of leads was dropping. Conversion rates were dipping. And at the same time, everyone was talking about these so-called “Andromeda changes” on the platform.
Here’s something I’m a big believer in: whatever platform you’re using, when it makes changes, you need to listen to them. Even when it’s inconvenient. Even when it means rethinking what you were doing. If you want to win on a platform, you play by its rules.
So what were the new rules? Facebook started heavily rewarding two things:
Speed to conversion. Instead of sending people through a lead magnet → email sequence → eventual sale over 5–7 days, Facebook wanted a faster path to the actual purchase. Cut out the middleman. Send people more directly to the offer. And there’s a practical reason behind this — it’s become harder for Facebook to track people across devices and over longer timeframes. When someone clicks an ad and buys directly, Facebook can see that clearly. When it takes 5 days and 3 devices, it can’t. And Facebook rewards what it can measure.
Bigger audiences. Facebook wanted more room to play. Which meant your offer needed to appeal to a broader group of people — not just your hyper-specific ideal client. The new playbook is to go broader with who you’re targeting, and let the algorithm find the right people for you.
What Happened When We Tested It
So we decided to test it. And the results genuinely blew me away — on two counts.
First, the numbers. Our initial test campaign hit 3x ROAS. On a low-ticket offer. In an expensive niche. At the end of November — one of the most expensive and competitive times of the year to be running ads.
But honestly, the second discovery was even more surprising. The ads were stupidly simple to run. I’d always assumed that scaling ads was this complex, specialist-level process — we’d actually been paying someone a few thousand dollars a month to manage ours. But with the way Facebook is running things right now, you genuinely don’t need that. The whole thing can be managed in about 30 minutes a week. That alone could save you thousands a month.
The Basic Structure
The system runs on two campaigns side by side — one for testing new ads, one for scaling the winners. Each week you rotate in fresh content, check how it’s performing against a set of benchmarks, and move the best ones into your scaling campaign. The rest get turned off.
The content side of it is where it gets really smart. If you’re already creating Reels or posts for Instagram — which you probably are — you’re already doing most of the work. You just need to make sure a handful of those pieces can double up as ads. No extra production. No separate creative budget. Just repurposing what you’re already making.
We also built our own simple reporting system that makes it dead easy to see what’s working — no need for expensive tracking tools like Hyros. That’s saving us hundreds a month on top of everything else.
Why This Matters Right Now
This is a genuine window of opportunity. Facebook has made it easier and more profitable than ever to run ads — but only if you’re doing it the way they want right now. The people who figure this out quickly are going to see serious results. The people still running the old playbook are going to keep wondering why their costs keep climbing.
