#186: 3 ways to predict exactly how successful your business will be

Not only are we in celebration mode, I’ve also been reflecting on some of the truly insane results our clients have gotten and where they are now.

#1 – Fast Implementation

Of the 3 characteristics for success I’ve seen in our clients, this is a big one. When I see participants in our program who are fast implementers, I know they’re going to exceed expectations. The thing is, as entrepreneurs, we’re busy. Not all of us have teams to lean on. Therefore, the ability to let go of perfectionism and get things done is crucial to start seeing the results you’re after. I believe that everything in business is an experiment – and rather than getting paralysed by the fear that something isn’t good enough, just get it out there. This will give you the chance to iterate and refine until it’s right.

In online business, there are many people driven by the lifestyle they’re able to create for themselves. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, a big factor for success that I see is people truly caring about their clients. When their mission is to help people, give them a great experience and create impact, it resonates. People feel that you’re authentic, and it makes a big difference in your marketing and in the way that you sell. This results in great word-of-mouth, testimonials and will absolutely help your business grow.

#3 – Bouncing Back from Failure

In business, things are going to go wrong. You’re going to experience failure, no matter how prepared you are or where you are in your journey. When it comes, it’s okay to take a step back, lick your wounds and rest. Self-care is essential in these moments. However, learning to bounce back quickly from failure is a key factor for success. It’s also important to recognise failure as a teacher. It provides us with insights we wouldn’t gain otherwise. What can you learn from it? How can you use it to improve? By dissecting your failures, you can uncover hidden gems of knowledge that will serve as the foundation for your future success.

I encourage you to think on these 3 characteristics for success and reflect on the way you currently show up in your business. If you feel you’re missing one, two or even all of these attributes, then know there is work you can do to gain them. Get curious and explore, with the knowledge that self-awareness will support you to make the best choices you can for your business and your life.
